There is an impressive intensity of dark cherry, fruit pastilles and sweet new oak aromas upfront that are supported by savoury cedar and earth. Then a compact core of flavour to follow that is beautifully formed and even, a line of chewy tannins and lick of acidity well integrated in a long, sustained, although at this young age, slightly oaky finish. It will get there, but just needs some time for that oak to settle.
