Fratelli Barale Barolo Bussia 2017

Share

Barolo at the height of its powers. Rose and orange citrus zest, cherry liqueur and all the smells of an Indian spice shop, fenugreek, cardamom to the fore. The fragrance spectrum seems endless, and is echoed in the palate, meshing into bergamot and cold black tea. All this sensory energy takes a long time to dissipate, with its expected tannins, grainy yet open and endless, enabling a long and refined finish. Exciting, sophisticated and downright delicious.
