Monchiero Langhe Nebbiolo Piemonte 2021

Share

The wines of Monchiero just seem to get better and better each year. This fits the traditional Langhe Nebbiolo brief in its drinkability, but couples it with finesse and complexity. Aromas of red rose, roast tomato umami, subtle cherry, mineral, liquorice root – pure, fine, and focused throughout. The palate is bright and refined, with rose, mineral, musk, and liquorice root again supported by chalky fine, tannins. Lovely fine detail, finesse, and length, particularly for Langhe level.
