Gioiello Estate Mt Concord Syrah 2020

This is a mighty impressive example of a cool climate Syrah from the Upper Goulburn River. Lots of dark fruit characters sprinkled with lively spices. There’s a rich combination of blackberry with blue fruit nuances creating quite an engaging expression of the variety. A ladling of syrupy dark chocolate with a cocoa addition makes for a beautiful combination. Finally, a gravelly loamy thread adds a textural feel to the palate.
