Hardys HRB Shiraz 2018

Share

A blend of fruit from McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and Frankland River. This manages to be an overall cohesive wine with plenty of enticing black and red fruits supported by classy oak. Its time in bottle has softened the grainy tannins into a sultry swathe and acidity brightens the plummy character solidify set in the middle palate. It’s filled with blackberries and dark chocolate, coffee and cardamom. Fruit is youthful and expressive. A very impressive wine at its price point despite its robustly weighted bottle. This is a steal and will impress any Shiraz drinker. Drink now but this puppy still has another 3-5 years left to evolve in your cellar. A wonderful wine for a steak sandwich with caramelised onions.
