Hare and the Tortoise Pinot Noir 2023

Pinot Noir from the Yarra Valley is an Aussie classic. The fruit here was destemmed and then fermented in open topped fermenters, with a three day cold soak before five months on lees. The colour here is a pale crimson. Aromas of dry herbs, leaf litter, raspberries, florals and red fruits. A soft and yet briary style that is quite savoury and finely structured with bright acidity and ever-so-slightly crunchy tannins. Showing medium length wine which offers good drinking for at least the next three to four years.
