Hare’s Chase Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

This is a super example of what the Barossa can do in a very good year. It’s been basket pressed and then matured in a mix of American and French oak. The American provides just that hint of sweetness which complements the fruit perfectly, while the French adds a slightly savoury note. The palate is soft and plush with an earthy liquorice character merging with ripe deliciously plummy flavours. Terrific wine.
