Harewood Estate Porongurup Riesling 2021

The source of the grapes for this Riesling, from the Porongurup ranges in the Great Southern, is some of the oldest plantings in the region. Again, free run juice with a cool, lengthy ferment in stainless steel. The colour here is a pale, dilute gold and the nose gives lovely spicy notes, some sea breeze hints, minerals, gentle florals and lemons. There is excellent underlying acidity and serious length. The wine maintains that intensity for the full extent and is an absolutely cracking Riesling. This has a long future ahead and will offer excellent drinking all the way along. Loved it.
