Heartland Directors’ Cut Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Share

This knock out Cabernet Sauvignon is bursting with black fruit aromas – blackcurrant, blackberry and vibrant black cherry with a subtle menthol kick and some leafy, bloodstone notes around the edges. From old vines and vineyards with a cooling Southern Ocean influence from the Lake Doctor winds. This helps enhance the growing season and allows for optimum conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon to do its thing. Brooding on the palate with mouth-watering notes of black olive, blackberry and blueberry. Blen Glaetzer’s smart use of French oak hogsheads helps to build complexity with the classic cedar kick, followed by dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee beans. This is complimented by baking spices, garden herbs and a tight knit tannic structure. Drink alongside wild mushroom and red wine risotto with shaved parmesan.
