Heirloom Vineyards Barossa Shiraz 2022

Share

Provides quite a contrast to the McLaren Vale Shiraz from this vintage. This is more chocolaty and generous with a firm opulence drawn from deep in those old Barossa soils. The plummy dominance on the nose is neatly complemented by some nice spices and dried herbs. With 18 months in French and American oak, it stacks up well as a wine for drinking now or for tucking away in the cellar for a few years.
