Howard Park Flint Rock Shiraz 2022

Share

Dark cherry, blackberry and java plum skin meld with black pepper spice and a core of minerality straight off, making for an appealing aromatic profile. Hints of menthol and cherry pit beneath. The palate is medium bodied with vibrant, forward fruit notes mirroring the nose, and a cooling mouthfeel. Tangy plum skin, blackberry, and black pepper are swept up in bright acidity and firm-but-fine silty tannins to a fresh close. There’s a good balance of savouriness and fruit. Overall, a lovely, elegant and vibrant example with ample structure. Good value for money.
