Hungerford Hill Pinot Noir 2022

Share

The fruit is Tumbarumba from the Herald Revee vineyard, the oldest in the region. Christmas cherries, rhubarb and baked mulberries. Whole bunch has been used to add wild bushland exotics and kicked up dust, adding a sense of place and time to the overall experience of this wine. Cherry pit and kernel come across with oak showing its sandalwood and dusty baking spice. It’s quite the savoury number with astute tannins adding a lot of value in the cellar, drinking well now or in 3-4 years further.  A wine for large crystal glasses and game terrines.
