Ironcloud Wines Rock of Solitude Chardonnay 2020

One thing really stands out about the ironcloud wines and that is brilliant winemaking. All the wines are perfectly pitched with winemaking well suited to the fruit that Ferguson Valley has to offer. This chardonnay is a prime example with its fantastic combination of bright, youthful fruits plus just the right amount of quality oak for an early drinking style.

It is a straw colour and immediately shows quite powerful and complex features – melon, nectarine and citrus which is backed by hints of praline and spicy oak. It is then quite typical for Western Australian Chardonnay – full-bodied and flavoured with a supple and inviting palate supported by silky acidity finishing long and seamless. A delicious chardonnay to enjoy over the next five years.
