The sun shone bright in Margaret River in 2022 and the Chardonnay grapes responded producing one perfectly ripe, warm and inviting wine. Rich in aromas of nectarine, yellow peach, spice aplenty, buttered toast, roasted nuts and vanilla pod. Offers a big mouthful of archetypal Marg’s Chardonnay flavour in ripe fruits and fig, spice, vanillin oak, roasted cashew and almond bread. Wine descriptors work overtime such is the energy and flavour intensity to be found here. Warm and inviting in texture and long in length, this almost qualifies for a meal in a glass, or start planning ahead for barbecue roast chicken and you will be just as happy.
