A wildly lifted and herbal wine, lilac, kombu and bush mint. Some Christmas cherries, peppermint and dark chocolate. Whole bunch adding to the exotics and climbing wire of growing things. With some decanting and air, which I highly recommend, the heart of cherries, mulberries and plum open further. It’s quite a crunchy number, and overall a thrilling wine. Not your average Joe and perhaps not a Pinot Noir wine to suit everyone, however a decant, a slight chill and some herb focaccia and duck pate would be a fabulous lunch, sat outside on a lawn with some cruising tunes.
