In good years, Adelaide Hills Shiraz can produce some marvellous wines, and this is one of them. It’s a medium-bodied wine from what was a very good season, showing lovely varietal fruit intensity with a raspberry–plum combination. The palate has a delightful chalky feel that complements the sweet red fruits, with just a faint touch of oak. It’s vibrant and bright, with a lively, energetic mouthfeel.
