Patch Nagambie Lakes Grenache 2024

Share

I haven’t seen much Grenache coming out of the Nagambie area but I hope to see much more of it. As soon as I screwed off the cap I was met by an abundance of confectionery ripeness and a truckload of fruit: red cherry, strawberry, raspberry and lashings of black pepper. There’s awesome fruit sweetness and juiciness on the palate which makes the wine a pleasure to drink, matched by some bracing acidity and not held back by heaps of tannin, so it goes down a treat. Pair it with a nice pasta dish or even some antipasto and watch it disappear.
