Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling 2022

This was an excellent season in Clare and this famous wine, from the high altitude vineyard, consistently produces some of Australia’s finest Rieslings. Aromas of lemon zest and subtle limestone, with a minerally thread. The palate picks up those floral, citrus influences on the nose and presents with a fine, controlled, long and slightly tensile finish. There’s a subtle fruit sweetness in here that completes the picture, but of course the finish is dry.
