Petaluma White Label Chardonnay 2023

Share

Ripe peach and grilled nectarine meld with toasty cedar oak to start, followed by some pastry dough complexity from lees contact. Some air allows the fruit notes to fill out and feature. The palate is full bodied and textural, with cedar making way for stone fruit notes akin to the nose and some melon and ripe citrus in support. Some gentle phenolic structure helps shape the finish, framing it all up to medium length. There’s no shortage of flavour and texture here, and a lot of wine for $29.
