Just about the best yet under this label, all handpicked Mount Barker fruit, barrel fermented and then four months lees stirring. Together they have worked their magic to produce a wine of complexity power and finesse. The underlying power and persistence is remarkable, but the way it presents with subtle understatement is equally impressive. The higher proportion of new French oak has added a slightly spicy lift to the finish. Outstanding wine.
