Silkman Hunter Valley Chardonnay 2018

In a time where plenty of Chardonnays are getting leaner and more delicate in flavour it is great to see some big, ripe and generous crowd-pleasers on the shelf as there are plenty of fans.

This is Hunter Valley from head to toe with its generous sweet white peach and nectarine fruits that are well matched by slightly toasty oak. It is then dry, full-bodied and creamy in texture with lashings of ripe fruit plus some well balanced acidity and it finishes with good length. A classic Hunter style to enjoy over the medium term.
