100% Sangiovese. Very pale salmon pink. Lifted notes of watermelon, cranberry and subtle white peach lead the aromas, with a twang of orange rind and zest adding bitter appeal in the background. The palate carries the same bitter edge melding with bright fruit notes of cranberry and cherry followed by clove studded orange. Nice orange laced tannins through a finish of good length. This wine’s amaro-like bitter edges make it, adding a savoury and moreish appeal while remaining bright and fresh.
