Small Victories Pinot Gris 2025

This is sourced from down in the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. The wine was fermented only in stainless steel, as you might imagine, and that’s resulted in a wine of vibrant purity, which is really what you’re looking for in this style. It’s not a bigger, developed Gris style and is more restrained, but with a fairly typical appley, crumbly pear influence that is evident on both the nose and the palate. It’s clean and it’s crisp, but with some nice subtle peachy characters adding some depth. It’s an appealing wine.
