Squitchy Lane The Key Chardonnay 2021

Share

There’s something special about the 2021 vintage in the Yarra Valley. The Key Chardonnay takes it to the next level at Squitchy Lane delivering a seamless beauty and a delicate tone, too. Sourced from the oldest part of the Chardonnay vineyard at Gruyere, planted in the early 1980s, The Key is so subtle, finely textured and just beautifully expressive. The scent shows off some pretty expensive, fragrant vanillin oak – ever artful and nicely blended – with nectarine, citrus apple. Arrives structured and ready to explore further, delving into quince, white peach, apple and citrus flavours wedded to a tangy acid drive. Mighty fine.
