St Hallett Old Block Shiraz 2021

Share

Sits deep in the glass, with liquorice and dark chocolate giving way to dark plum, clove, black pepper, old leather and flickers of meat. Rich and full bodied on the palate, with liquorice, leather and black pepper hovering over deep, intense fruit — blood plum and blackberry. Dark chocolate, coffee grounds and black olive brine linger through a finish of good length, carried by firm, grainy tannins. Bitter tones define the close. Lovers of Barossa Shiraz in the dark, brooding style will swoon.
