Streicker Ironstone Block Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

This is one inviting Margaret River Cabernet, super smooth, rich, warm and round. Ripe, too, and with it we see the grape’s black fruits and plums in command with lively dark spices, chocolate with violet florals. Supple tannins and inviting oak present the possibility for early drinking enjoyment. It’s forward in personality, not shy in the least, and comes with a world of flavour that makes it the kind of Cabernet that is super easy to get to know. There’s a lot to like here and now, but also comes with the kind of structure that can bring added cellaring time.
