Taltarni Discovery Sangiovese 2021

This is largely Sangiovese but there is support from a little Shiraz and Cabernet. First impression is that this is a perfect food wine with its elegance, medium weight fruit and lick of acid on the finish with aromas of blackberry and a typical cranberry character. The palate has surprising textural suppleness but that fine thread of tannin and acidity keep it headed to a long, dry and slightly savoury finish.
