Terra Felix Yarra Valley Reserve Chardonnay 2022

A tight, mid-length style of Chardonnay from a fine vintage in the Yarra Valley. All of the juice was barrel fermented, 50% of that was in new French oak, with maturation over the next eleven months. Deep yellow colour. There is depth here, with notes of hazelnuts, honeycomb and stonefruits. A hint of minerals providing the backing. The flavours are very much upfront at this stage, with tropical and stonefruit, as well as figs, all prominent with a soft fade. Enjoy this over the next couple of years.
