The colour is blood red and the wine has aromas of warm earth, red fruits, leather and truffles. It is a slightly old-fashioned style – and absolutely nothing wrong with that. An enticing softness on the palate with a move to more chocolatey character and nice flick of acidity and good length. A very enjoyable red and one which has time ahead of it.
