The Lane Gathering Adelaide Hills Riesling 2025

Share

Adelaide Hills Riesling lives in the shadow of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, but it doesn’t necessarily deserve that role. Here’s why. Aromatics spring to life in white florals, honeysuckle, citrus, lime skin and pinches of lemongrass, Asian lime and ginger. A full, expressive wine awaits. Maybe it’s the creamy texture, something just emerging in other ’25 Rieslings, but it really works with the richness of the citrus and apple and earthy herbal notes that start to feature on the palate in this wine in rosemary and Thai basil.  It’s a complexity enhanced by a honeysuckle liveliness and shiny acidity. This is a wine that can take on rich Chinese and Asian flavours with ease. Silky rice noodles and BBQ pork anyone?
