Thistledown Wines Our Fathers Single Vineyard Clare Valley Riesling 2023

A single vineyard Clare Riesling, all of the profits from this wine go to charity. A very pale lemon yellow hue, the nose gives us notes of florals, lemon curd, spices, pears, and a character reminiscent of sunlight soap, but in the most positive way. There is a fine line of acidity, rather crunchy, with a lingering, appealing finish. Good balance throughout, this will provide pleasure over the next decade. A cracking Riesling, you can drink well and do good, at the same time.
