Thompson Estate Chardonnay 2024

Like this a lot. A fine Margaret River Chardy, we can see a small, but well-integrated contribution from quality oak. The wine is well-crafted and impressive at every stage. Pale lemon hue, the nose gives us peaches, stone fruits, spices, cumquats, florals and lemon curd notes. There is good concentration here but the balance never wavers and there is good intensity throughout. A fresh and elegant style with good focus and a very long finish. This will provide pleasure over the next six to eight years.
