A reserved nose gently reveals green apple, nashi pear, lemon, and rosewater. Lemon thyme pops out with air adding a lovely savoury lift and a subtle pastry dough aroma sitting beneath, potentially from some lees work. The palate melds generosity and tension, with a lovely creamy texture cut by malic acidity that marries beautifully with fine talc-like phenolics. Apple tart, lemon juice, pear, and a floral perfume command the mouth. It’s vibrant and alive, full of character and finesse. The interplay of vivid fruit, bright structure and creamy texture makes this very moreish.
