A grape that has traditionally been used in Cognac production finds its feet in the Central Ranges and shows impressive verve in the glass. Super pretty (and it’s not just that gorgeous label) with lifted aromatics in white florals, honeysuckle, Asian pear, lemon and grapefruit citrus. Is it the acidity or the citrus or both that provides that up tempo beat? There is certainly a vibrancy to the palate with a sustained floral impact surrounding citrus, apple, mineral and spice. Sitting bright and crunchy from start to mouth-watering finish.
