Yering Station Single Vineyard Spring Lane Chardonnay 2025

Share

A sunny Chardonnay for a rainy Melbourne day – which automatically makes it the perfect vinous antidote for those winter months ahead, wherever you might be. This is a wine full of life and flavour, headlining ripe – and definitely sunny – Yarra Valley fruit. Aromas close in on lime, lemon, grapefruit – the whole citrus family is there, including florals – with pear and peach, lively spice and a gentle nuttiness that shines. Settles into a warm lusciousness against a backbone of fresh acidity on the palate, with the addition of an enticing flavour, a hazelnut, crème brûlée, toasty kind of quality that enriches the wine. Ten months in French oak has brought an added touch, and it’s been lapped right up.
