Blackstone Paddock Margaret River Cabernet 2018

Of all the wine regions in Australia, Margaret River is probably the best known for Cabernet Sauvignon. Its seaside climate make the hills around the town of Margaret River uniquely suited to this grape variety. This Cabernet Sauvignon from Blackstone Paddock showcases the region well, in what is a big wine by local standards.

It is deeply coloured and flavoured – with dense and ripe fruit pastille aromas plus local herbal bay leaf complexity. The palate is dry and muscular – ripe blackberry fruits and mouthcoating tannins make it a serious wine that could do with some time in the cellar.
