From the Margheria cru of Serralunga d’Alba, an impression of brandy-soaked dark cherry, dried orange peel, dark chocolate, quince paste and grilled figs. Truffle, tar, and blood beneath. Almost Chinatoesque with robust flavours and full body. The heat is part of the texture, softens the edges and sweetens the dense, chocolatey tannins. Perhaps, the most complete in Boasso’s 2019s.
