McLaren Vale Shiraz from a great vintage at this price – what is not to love? Opaque maroon in colour, with cassis, blackberries, spices, vanilla, cigar box notes, plums, and coffee beans. A compelling nose, the wine is both plush and seamless with a cushiony texture and the silkiest of tannins. Very impressive length. Drink over the next decade. Love it and love the value.
