Castle Rock Diletti Pinot Noir 2023

Handpicked Pinot from Porongurup which sees carbonic maceration, cold soaking and foot stomping, before ten months maturation. Pale crimson colour, the nose gives us delightful aromas of forest floor, dried herbs, some briary notes, red fruits, cloves, miso and tobacco leaves. Medium to good length here, this is supple, youthful, fresh, focused and well balanced. Satiny tannins, this should continue to build length and will offer even more excitement in the coming years. Enjoy it over the next five to eight years.
