Colours of the South Barossa Valley Rosso 2021

Share

A blend of three Italian underdogs – Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Aglianico – the Rosso is a great Friday night drop, particularly if you’re having pasta or firing up the barbecue. It shows lovely primary characters of red cherry, mulberry, raspberry, tomato leaf and violets, with some cola, ink, earth and mushroom from bottle age. The tannins are chalky and the fruit turns darker on the palate after some air.
