Fearon Rouge Grenache Tempranillo Mataro 2025

Crunchy, formidably fun, and full of optimism. If it were me, I’d drink this GTM blend (the T is Tempranillo) with the slightest of chills – 10°C would suffice rather nicely. Cranberry, fermenting strawberries, watermelon and torn herbs, the latter from the inclusion of whole bunches. In the mouth it deploys more joy and sinewy excitement. It’s fun. Torn rose petals, crystal dust, bay leaf and rhubarb. Completely understandable. A great food wine. A great aperitif. Just good plonk, really. Perfect for cured meats, fermenting veggies in jars and breaking hearts.
