Flametree S.R.S. Wallcliffe Chardonnay 2021

Share

Comes from a single site in the Wallcliffe area of Margaret River. This is a slightly restrained but no less impressive chardonnay compared to previous vintages. On the nose there is that slight savouriness with a faint struck match character. The oak is brilliantly managed with wild fermentation and maturation in large format barrels of which about 40% was new. Creamy and slightly nutty with a slice of pear and grapefruit.
