Fowles Are You Game? Pinot Noir 2023

Share

The Fowles Are You Game? range is well suited to sporting a Pinot Noir. The duck on the front label knows it and the taster will too. The Victorian blend fits not only the price point but the early drinking style, with plenty of red fruits in action. It has immediate appeal and that’s where it sits. It will not require any further ageing. Wild strawberry, plum, cherry and cranberry fruits are underscored by wild herbs and gentle florals. Acidity rather than tannin guides the wine, and it’s a brisk race to the finish line with a flourish of sour cherry to close.
