Howard Park Margaret River Chardonnay 2023

This very impressive and youthful Chardonnay is 90% from the cooler Karridale subregion with the remainder from Wilyabrup which provides a good mix of power and vitality. It opens with seamless and embryonic aromas of rockmelon, citrus and chalk, well intertwined with fine oak. Flavours are tightly packed with a linear texture and pithy grip before finishing with a super long and fine finish. Very young but sure to build impressively over a decade and beyond.
