Lark Hill Ley-line Riesling 2022

Fruit is sourced from a single block of its namesake Leyline. A fractured quartz site that allows for long ripening. This is always a standout wine, that in each vintage it has been produced finds a real harmony and grace. An orchard of dainty apples, lilly pilly and star jasmine. Honeydew melon and guava nectar. Here acidity plays against the dew drop sweetness and acts as a sailing ship to drive flavour right to the edge of the world and into the sunset. It’s a thrill ride and oh so pure. This is the kind of wine that would cut right through a fatty five spice roast pork belly and work equally well with meringue and fresh fruit. Stunning as always. Drink now or will age glacially in your cellar for another decade or so.
