Mandala Rock Shiraz 2017

This is sourced from the Dixon’s Creek Vineyard in the Yarra Valley. Smooth, seamless and delightfully refined, this is a class act of Yarra Shiraz, illustrating how this variety from here can be somewhat underrated. Beautiful aromas of slightly leathery dark plum and cedar get your attention from the get-go. The palate is loaded with a mix of blue and red fruits, complemented by chalky tannins and fine-grained oak. Nice wine.
