Mosaic Lieutenant McLaren Vale Shiraz 2017

Dark red colour here, with the nose offering cassis, mocha, chocolate, plums, blackcurrants, dark berries and spices supported by a hint of coffee grinds and tobacco leaves with vestiges of chocolate. Fine tannins, very good concentration and excellent length here, with fresh acidity running the length. There is also balance and persistence, and the wine should provide pleasure over the next decade.
