Precious Little Barossa Valley Marananga Nero d’Avola 2024

Share

This is a variety that, if you let it get away from you and become too ripe, it loses all of its essential perfumes and delightful, sweet fruit characters. In this case, it’s been held back nicely, so it’s showing every facet of its attractive qualities. The colour is a deep crimson. And the aromas show a mix of floral perfumed red berries, and some subtle plummy undertones. It’s medium bodied, but loaded with plenty of flavour and concentrated depth, which it delivers with real elegance through to a sustained finish. There’s a lot to like about this wine.
