What is pulled out of the hat is a savoury led, varietal expression – cherry choc, cranberry, chinotto and potpourri. Jumping across the palate- the wine is light in body yet firm in footing. Juicy cranberries, rhubarb bite and a soft crescendo of chilli choc, cinnamon spice. Chiselled tannins and an earthiness starting to reveal, together making it that bit more interesting. A wine for the patient and pondering.
