Tomich Woodside Chardonnay 2021

Another fine wine from the single vineyard collection off the Woodside Vineyard. A superb, if youthful Chardonnay from a leading region and a superb vintage – what more do you want? The nose gives a hint as to the glories still to come. Spices, cashews, stonefruit – think white peaches – and crisp citrus notes. This is ripe and full of flavour, but with finesse and balance. A seductive texture and a beautiful lingering finish, which is clean and bright. Impressive stuff and while it is delicious now, well cellared examples will continue to provide pleasure for the next 5 to 6 years. Seriously good value.
